  1.     As of this release of ChatBox (v1.148 05/15/96), the prefs file is now an
  2. ASCII file using ASCII tags to set the various preferences.
  3.  
  4.     READ the .guide for information on the tags.
  5.  
  6.     To make the conversion easy, I've included a utility to convert the old
  7. binary 'cb.prefs' to the new format.
  8.  
  9.     To use CBCvtPrefs:
  10.  
  11. CBCvtPrefs <old_prefs> <new_prefs>
  12.  
  13. What I did is this:
  14.  
  15. 1> Copied old 'cb.prefs' to RAM:
  16. 2> Ran CBCvtPrefs like so:  CBCvtPrefs RAM:cb.prefs ChatBox:cb.prefs
  17. 3> deleted RAM:cb.prefs
  18.  
  19.     Easy enuff?
